Set Up and Product Ordering

  •  How frequently do you deliver?

We base our deliveries on your needs. We can deliver daily, weekly, monthly, or will-call. Most convenience stores are on a 42-day cycle.

  • Do you clean our buckets when you deliver?

Yes, we clean the buckets at the time of delivery, but stores are still responsible for cleaning buckets between deliveries. Typically, stores should clean buckets every one to two weeks.

  • How long does the delivery take?

Our deliveries only take about 15 minutes unless additional maintenance on the system is required.

Cost and Pricing for Systems

  • Do I have to pay for the installation?

No, the distributor is responsible for the system equipment and installation costs. Distributors own and maintain all Clean Shield equipment. The only cost to you is the product used.

Leaking System

  • Can I shut off a leaking system?

Yes, there is a white and blue valve (typically located in the paper towel area). A quarter-turn will shut off the flow to the squeegee bucket. If the valve is lost or broken, pinch the hose (like pinching off flow to a garden hose). Secure with a clamp or rubber band, etc. Follow troubleshooting steps to repair a leak. Report leak if the problem is unsuccessful in being resolved. Call our toll-free number to leave a message: (864) 435-8052.

  • Is fixing a leak easy?

    Yes, here are the steps:

    • Shut off the flow at the valve located in the paper towel holder.
    • Lift the bucket out of the washer fluid unit recess and check the hose going into the elbow going into the bucket. Most leaks come from here as the hose needs to be pushed fully into the elbow. Please turn it on to verify that the leak has stopped.
    • If the bucket continues to overflow, pour out the contents of the bucket into a reservoir (5-gal pail or mop bucket). Turn off the valve. Remove the two screws (Phillips "Cross" screwdriver) that secure the float plate located inside the bucket, and lift the plate with the adjustable float out of the bucket. Adjust the float to a lower setting (similar to a float in a toilet tank). Tighten wing-nut. Replace the float plate and secure it with the 2 Phillips screws.
    • If the bucket continues to overfill, call our Toll-free number (864) 435-8052 and leave a message.
